Frewin’s theatre is located tucked away from all the hustle and bustle, on the top of Clifton Hill.

OK, I have been wrong before and once again, I was wrong by assuming Greg Frewin’s show would not be as good as the shows in Vegas. As a matter of fact, it is better then most.

Greg earned the title “International Grand Champion of Magic” and for good reason - he puts on one heck of a show!

We sat in the Orchestra area about 10 feet from the stage - the most expensive seats in the house but much cheaper compared to shows in Las Vegas. We did not have the dinner, so I cannot comment about that in this post. The theatre itself is small and intimate. We ordered enough Martini to get through the show, which was mixed well and was enjoyable to have. The show features multiple original tricks along with animals including dogs, birds and of course white tigers. You even have a photo opportunity (for an additional fee, of course) with Greg and the Tigers after the show. We also enjoyed Greg’s personality and comical bits. We’ll be going again this year, for sure.

Greg Frewin Theatre is recommended for the entire family to enjoy and something not to be missed while on your Niagara Falls vacation!

When visiting Niagara Falls don’t forget to drive (or take the People Mover) on down the Parkway and check out the Floral Clock. The flowers are beautiful and the the clock is an actual working timepiece.

The floral clock’s face is made of as many as 16,000 carpet bedding flowers. The design of the clock’s flowers gets changed only two times a year. Using one design in the Spring a different one for the summer and fall.

The hands on the clock are made out of stainless steel tubing. The big hand that shows the minute measures at 17.5 ft long, while the little hand that shows the hour measures at 14.5 ft long. The biggest hand is the second hand, it is a wondrous 21ft long. When you combine all the hands together they weigh a whopping 1,250 pounds.

At the top area of the clock is a tower that reaches 24ft high and contains the speakers that allow Westminster chimes to be heard every 15 minutes on the hour. At times the door in the back of the tower may be open allowing a peek inside to see how the clock works and a look at pictures showing every clock face design used since 1950.

Anyone interested it clocks or flowers would not want to miss this attraction!

The War of 1812 was the major conflict between America and the British Colonies. It housed the British Army from the lowest soldier to some of the more famous military figures. During the War of 1812, Fort George served as the main headquarters for some of the most important battles of that war. There were internal structural buildings that allowed for space to house the officers comfortably and very luxuriously, blockhouses or barracks that served to house the lower ranking men and some of their families, and the stone powder magazine which held the Army’s supply of gunpowder, is still onsite today for visitors to experience as are the Butler’s Barracks. The Fort George location was also used to monitor the traffic that flowed through the Niagara River which is situated on the opposite and is visible from the Fort.
