A new nightclub & restaurant has been approved for Third Street, in Niagara Falls USA. The announcement was made today in local papers. Another recent addition to Third Street includes “Wine on Third”, the city’s first wine bar, which we will be reviewing shortly.

The new facility will featured a complete renovation of the existing structure that will have an eating and drinking area and entertainment stage on the first floor and several private and public karaoke hubs upstairs. The new facility will be called “Imagine.”

Third Street, in Niagara Falls USA, is being built back up to become the city entertainment and dining district. Recent street designs were completed last year.

We’ll review the entire Street in the Spring, so keep a look out and be sure to bookmark this blog.

Located in the Seneca complex, the Koi has a nice atmosphere with excellent Asian cuisine. Can be rather pricey but if you are looking for a nice sit down dinner in between playing, this is a nice place to go to eat. A nice touch to our last visit, once the staff found out we were there for a special occasion, they brought complimentary desserts to the table and sang Happy Birthday.

A Hyde Park mainstay, Sammy’s has been serving up pizza and wings from this location since we were kids. Although the food quality has changed over the years, Sammy’s seems to keep a loyal customer base. Features are pizza, chicken wings and salads. Also serving submarines and other fare, this restaurant is moderately expensive compared to other pizzerias in the area.

(716) 283-1339This café along the Niagara River is fairly popular among locals and lies just a few minutes from hotels. This restaurant has a wide variety of menu items and a NASCAR theme. If you are looking for a place to watch a NASCAR race in Niagara Falls, Justin Tyme would be the place for you. Our last visit in August 2007, we had 4 fish dinners, and one member of our party had a club sandwich. Our fish fry’s were great.

Sandi’s has an assortment of American fare from the all American egg and bacon breakfast, sandwiches and daily specials. Sandi’s is located about 10 minutes from downtown Niagara Falls hotels and very easy to find. Simply take the Robert Moses Parkway to the LaSalle Expressway.  Sandi’s is at the end of the Expressway. This is a nice little restaurant if you want to get away from tourist prices and the hustle and bustle. You will spend less than $30 for a family of 4 to eat dinner here.
